Johannesburg - Reigning PSL champions, Orlando Pirates have bolstered their commercial portfolio by agreeing a partnership deal with Peugeot.
Pirates, who won the MTN8 competition at the weekend and resume the defence of their league title on Wednesday, have agreed a deal that will see the French company join as the official vehicle partner. Financial details of the agreement have not been disclosed.
“Orlando Pirates and Peugeot are two powerful brands renowned for being stylish yet resilient and reliable,” said Dr Irvin Khoza, chairman of Orlando Pirates. “In Peugeot we have a partner whose roots are in the origins of style and imagery.”
Francis Harnie, Peugeot South Africa managing director, added: “Peugeot South Africa is proud to be associated with the legendary Orlando Pirates. Peugeot is committed to the South African market hence our offering of the latest models that offer the South African driver cutting edge design, technology and safety.”
