The 2011 Nedgroup Investments Big5 Sport Challenge presented by Sport24 gets underway on Saturday the second of July, by way of the challenging 80 km Mountain Bike ride in the Knysna forest.
Registration takes place at the Nedgroup Investments and Sport24 branded Big5 trailer in the outdoor area of Loerie park on the Friday evening.
The Big 5 events:
Plus an option of either:
Sunday 3 July - The 100km Road Race
Or
Sunday 10 July - The Lagoon Challenge
And as media partner, we at Sport24 thought it rather apt to introduce this year's entrants ...
Over the weekend, we will be profiling a few of the entrants, and also introducing a fiesty young lady who will take on the challenge of writing for us while also taking part in the Big5 ...
