Cape Town - The Cheetahs’ PRO14 run will come to an end on Saturday, local bookmakers have predicted.

The men from Bloemfontein face Welsh side Scarlets in a qualifier in Llanelli, with the winner advancing to an away semi-final against Glasgow Warriors.

The Cheetahs have struggled with their away form in the PRO14 and are considered outsiders to win in Wales on Saturday (kick-off 19:35 SA time).

Leading SA bookmakers BET.co.za have the Scarlets as heavy favourites at 3/25 odds, while the Cheetahs can be backed at 11/2.

A draw is on offer at 32/1.

The other playoff match is between Irish side Munster and Scottish side Edinburgh, with the winner travelling to the RDS Arena to face Leinster in the semi-finals.

BET.co.za have instilled Munster as favourites for that game - at 11/50 odds, while Edinburgh can be backed at 37/10.

A draw is on offer at 24/1.
