The Game Starts Here!

Whether you’re a rookie or a seasoned pro, we’ve got a few tips things to help you get on your feet.

What types of bets can I place with BET.co.za?

With over 70 betting markets on PSL matches and even more on the European Leagues, there’s a bet for everyone at BET.co.za. But what does it all mean? We’re here to help you decide which bet is best for you.

Match Result

The most common betting market in soccer. Simply select a team to win or if the match will end in a draw.

Correct Score

Predict the score at the end of normal time. There are many possible scorelines for a match so the odds are quite high. A handy bet if you know a team’s scoring habits or if there’s a pattern in their previous matches.

Half-Time/Full-Time Double

Also known as the double result, this is a bet on predicting the result at both half-time and full-time in the same bet. Particularly useful if you find a side that has a habit of throwing away the lead or you’re expecting a tight game that might open up in the second half.

Draw No Bet

Similar to a match result bet, but there is no option for the draw. You can bet on either team to win and if it’s a draw you get your stake back. It’s a safer bet, but the downside is that the odds on each team winning are reduced because of this.

Double Chance

A double chance bet allows you to cover two of the three possible outcomes in a soccer match with one bet. Bettors can either take home team and draw, away team and draw or home team and away team. Like ‘Draw No Bet’ the odds are slightly shorter, but the extra option can come in handy!

Total Goals (Under / Over)

This is a two option bet on whether there will be more or less than the number of goals mentioned. This is quite a popular bet because there are only two possible outcomes. A good bet to take if you think the match will be high or low scoring.

First Goal Scorer

What you see is what you get. Predict a player to score the first goal. There's an option for "no goal scorer" which is if there is no goal scored in "normal time". Make sure you take note of players who take free kicks or penalties – there’s value to be had.

Anytime Goal Scorer

Similar to the first goal scorer, but here you are picking a player to score anytime during the match. Look for players with good records against certain clubs, or players who are currently on a hot streak.

There are plenty other markets to choose from including total corners, handicap results, both teams to score, clean sheet or total cards. Be sure to check them out at BET.co.za and make your play.
