Food Lover’s Market to fuel Two Oceans runners

Cape Town - Food Lover’s Market is geared to fuel runners and families at Old Mutual Two Oceans Marathon for second consecutive year

Food Lover’s Market is excited to welcome attendees of the Old Mutual Two Oceans Marathon into its 25x30 metre pop-up store, which will make for a spacious food sanctuary for spectators and runners over the two-day event.

The store is set to resemble the unique Theatre of Food layout and shopping experience that Food Lover’s Market stores are known for.

Conveniently located near the finish line, the pop-up store houses five food stations which will offer meals suited to anytime of the day or any level of hunger.

Popular food options such as paninis, baguettes, footlongs, crispy chicken, seafood, and chicken and beef burgers will be available from food stations, such as the Grill Shack. Other items, such as Munch-On-The-Run dried fruit and nuts range and a variety of crisps, sweets and chocolates, will be easily and conveniently available throughout the store for a quick snack or energy boost.

Seattle Coffee Company, the premium coffee brand exclusive to Food Lover’s Market, will be trading from a mobile coffee station, as well as a fixed pop-up store at the hospitality area - ensuring runners and spectators enjoy great quality coffee throughout race day.

We’re encouraging runners and families to come straight to the Seattle Coffee Company pop-up store on the day to get their caffeine kick.

Food Lover’s Market is dedicated to promoting healthy and balanced lifestyles, and remains committed to the cause with its annual involvement in, sporting events such as Rugby Sevens, Cape Town Tens and Wines2Whales.

“We are proud to be the exclusive food partner of the Two Oceans Marathon. One of our focuses at Food Lover’s Market is to promote healthy and active lifestyles and this is why it made perfect sense to work alongside Two Oceans Marathon in echoing this messaging”, says Brian Coppin, CEO of Food Lover’s Market Holdings.

With a wide variety of food on offer, as well as hot and cold beverages, the Food Lover’s Market pop-up store will offer runners and their supporters a great breakfast, lunch and snack solution - leaving you only to soak up the fantastic atmosphere of the races.

Exclusive prizes will be given away on Food Lover’s Market’s social media platforms in the week leading up to race day.
