SPRINTER Anaso Jobodwana broke the South African 200 m record on Saturday night at the Cayman Invitational, crossing the line in 20,06 seconds.

The old mark of 20,11 was set by Morné Nagel 13 years ago.

Jobodwana, who is based in the United States, won the 200 m title at the South African National Championships in Stellenbosch last month. He is all set for the Diamond League season, and he is set to run at the Prefontaine Classic in Eugene next Saturday. — SuperSport
