Bolt survives Gatlin - and cameraman

Beijing - Jamaican sprint superstar Usain Bolt was aware of the danger posed by challenger Justin Gatlin in the world championship 200m on Thursday but also survived an unexpected threat from an out of control cameraman.

Bolt sped to victory in 19.55 to claim his 10th career worlds gold, but was accidentally flattened by a cameraman as he completed his lap of honour.

The cameraman was following Bolt on a Segway but when a wheel clipped a barrier, he turned suddenly into the back of the Jamaican's legs, causing him to topple over backwards.

Bolt promptly rolled back onto his feet and laughed off the incident - with the cameraman relieved to have caused no more than momentary embarrassment to himself.
