Kingston - Usain Bolt has withdrawn from a meet in his native Jamaica this weekend because of a hamstring injury.
The Olympic 100m and 200m champion says he strained a hamstring during training last week. Bolt said in a statement on Wednesday that it was only a grade one strain and he hopes to recover soon.
He was scheduled to race Saturday at Jamaica's National Stadium in Kingston. Jamaican team-mates Yohan Blake and Asafa Powell withdrew earlier because of injuries.
US sprinters Alyson Felix and Tyson Gay are still scheduled to compete.
