Cape Town - It's the weekend!
But the sporting world never sleeps, so hang on tight and be sure to watch these SIX events (in no particular order)!
1. Soweto Derby
On Saturday, it's the much-anticipated Soweto derby between Orlando Pirates and Kaizer Chiefs. The outcome of the match could determine which team stands the better (only) chance of posing a real threat to log-leaders Mamelodi Sundowns.
In other Absa Premiership encounters, SuperSport United host Maritzburg United (Saturday, 18:00), Platinum Stars take on Free State Stars (Saturday, 20:15) and on Sunday we see Bloemfontein Celtic battle Ajax Cape Town (15:30) and Polokwane City face off against Golden Arrows (15:30).

2. World Rugby Sevens Series
We're in viva Las Vegas for the fifth leg of the World Rugby Sevens Series!
Log leaders, the Blitzboks, face Wales (Saturday, 03:34 SA time), Canada (Saturday, 06:35 SA time) and England (Sunday, 0:10 SA time) in Pool B in the USA.
The Cup final kicks off on Monday at 02:30 (SA time) with the Blitzboks hopefully featuring - and coming out on top!

3. English Premiership
The English Premiership is here to keep us entertained.
We start off with Burnley hosting Everton (14:30 SA time), Leicester City battle AFC Bournemouth (17:00 SA time), Tottenham Hotspur face Huddersfield Town (17:00 SA time) and we'll see Anfield come alight as Liverpool take on Newcastle United (19:30 SA time).
On Sunday, Brighton & Hove Albion host a determined Arsenal (15:30 SA time) and then the match of the weekend sees log-leaders Manchester City battle reigning Premier League champions Chelsea (18:00 SA time).

4. Proteas v Australia, 1st Test
The Proteas will be looking to take their India Test success into the four-match series against Australia.
Faf du Plessis and his charges will look to tame Steve Smith's men in the first Test in Durban.

5. WGC - Mexico Championship
We're in Mexico City as the star-studded World Golf Championship heads into the weekend.
Will world No 1 Dustin Johnson defend his title this year or will the red-hot Jon Rahm, Rickie Fowler or Jordan Spieth come out tops?

6. Super Rugby
Round 3 of the Super Rugby action gets under way this weekend.
The Stormers continue their tough overseas tour where they face the reigning Super Rugby champion Crusaders on Saturday (08:35 SA time).
While over at Kings Park the Sharks host the Waratahs (15:05) and then the much-anticipated South Africa derby between the Bulls and the Lions in Pretoria kicks off at 17:15.
Who will reign supreme? Will we see any upsets? All these questions and more will be answered on Sport24...
