3 must-watch weekend sporting events

Cape Town - It's the weekend!

But the sporting world never sleeps, so hang on tight and be sure to watch these THREE events!

1. FA Cup final

Chelsea will lock horns with Manchester United at Wembley Stadium on Saturday.

The Blues will be aiming to clinch their first FA Cup title since 2012. This is Chelsea's second consecutive final appearance.

However, Jose Mourinho's men won't make it any easier and are desperate to lift their 13th FA Cup trophy.

Kick-off is at 18:15 SA time.

2.  Nedbank Cup final

After a controversial and exciting Nedbank Cup competition, only two teams remain.

On Saturday, Maritzburg United and Free State Stars battle it out for the coveted trophy at Cape Town Stadium.

Both will make their first final appearance in the Nedbank Cup since inception and it's definitely a must-watch this weekend.

Kick-off is at 19:00.

3. Super Rugby

Round 14 of the Super Rugby action gets under way on Saturday.

We first start off in Hong Kong as the Sunwolves battle the Stormers (07:15 SA time), Blues host the Crusaders (09:35 SA time) and the Waratahs take on the Highlanders (11:45 SA time).

Back in SA in Durban, the Sharks host the Chiefs (15:05) and over at Ellis Park the Lions look to tame the Brumbies (17:15). 

We end off this weekend's Super Rugby action when the Jaguares play host to John Mitchell's Bulls (23:40 SA time).

Who will reign supreme? Will we see any upsets? All these questions and more will be answered on Sport24...
