3 must-watch weekend sporting events!

Cape Town - It's the weekend!

But the sporting world never sleeps, so hang on tight and be sure to watch these THREE events (in no particular order)!

1.  ENGLISH PREMIERSHIP EXTRAVAGANZA!

This is one English Premiership weekend you do NOT want to miss!

Some of the fixtures include Tottenham Hotspur hosting Stoke City (Saturday, 17:00 SA time) and then we head to Newcastle as they take on Leicester City (Saturday, 19:30 SA time).

We end off the weekend's Premier League action with two epic battles starting off with the Merseyside derby between Liverpool and Everton (Sunday, 16:15 SA time) and then we have a top of the log clash with the Manchester Derby, which sees Jose Mourinho's men entertain a unbeaten Pep Guardiola side (Sunday, 18:30 SA time).

2. RAM SLAM T20 CHALLENGE

It's crunch time this weekend in the Ram Slam T20 Challenge with semi-final spots up for grabs.

On Friday, the Knights host the Dolphins in Bloemfontein, while the Highveld Lions take on the Warriors in Potchefstroom and then the Cape Cobras battle runaway leaders and defending champions, Titans. All games get under way at 18:00.

On Sunday, the Dolphins will be hoping for no rain when they take on the Titans in Durban (14:30) - and then we head to the Bullring where as the Lions host the Knights (14:30).

3. CAPE TOWN SEVENS

The City of Cape Town will come alight as the second leg of the World Rugby Sevens Series gets underway this weekend.

The Blitzboks will be looking to entertain a capacity Cape Town Stadium and avenge England, who was victorious last year.

Can the Philip Snyman and his men win back-to-back series titles? The action gets underway at 10:15.
