Worrying thing about the Boks

I was at first very excited with the selection of the Springbok team but on mulling over it last night I came to a few nasty conclusions that actually turned my stomach.  First of all the inclusion of all the top players from the Blue Bulls ?  I dont believe that this was a good move as seeing that they are on top of the South African conference and South Africa's hope for another Super Rugby cup, shouldn't these guys get a bit of a rest instead of going straight into the Bok team and from there back into the play offs for the Super Rugby.  Guys like Pierre Spies and Morne Steyn and even Jano Vermaak and JJ have had a superb season in Super Rugby and have been justly rewarded with Springbok caps but is this not going to be to the detriment of the Bulls campaign ?

It would perhaps make more sense for Heneke Meyer to play these guys against tougher opponents and let them rest against the weaker teams or hopefully Heyneke has donned his thinking cap and is planning to rest them at half time and play Lambie, Arno, Hougaard and Serfontein for the second half.  Then again that is another three Bulls players.  I feel that as much as we would benefit from having someone like Morne Steyn as our first choice flyhalf I would hate to see him being played into the ground again.

A further concern of mine is the exclusion of Joe Pietersen from the squad.  He has been absolutely fantastic this entire season and yet has been left out of the squad ?  Surely he should be regarded as our first or second choice fullback?

Just my opinion.
