Why kick possession away?

Once again, I will say it week in and week out, if you don't have the ball you can't control the game, so why on earth do you want to kick valuable possession away.
And then SPACE- why are the Springboks obsess with running into the opposition, when they could have attack the space. I am sorry to say they lack vision in attack, no imagination, and no flair. Heneyke's obsession with big players who can't think on their feet is almost so pathetic as the time when he was paraded as the savior of SA rugby after what was believed to be a new era in SA rugby. Yes, a new low in SA rugby it is indeed.
But then again I can't help not to think of a time not so long-ago when Sprigbok-rugby was full of running and so unpredictable as the guy who coach them, that was also the time when we played winning rugby. I'm just saying.
