What's up with the Proteas

So there the Proteas were yesterday, cruising along nicely with Amla and AB at the crease… and then AB went and got himself out. After that all the momentum seemed to come to a halt and what should have been a comfortable chase somehow turned into a one run defeat.

Pakistan deserve credit for disciplined bowling at the death but with so many wickets remaining it should never have come to that. All very frustrating for Proteas supporters. It was expected that we would steamroll Pakistan at home after the triumph on the sub-continent, now the team are one defeat away from an embarrassing whitewash.
Will the real Proteas stand up please?

No! I think the smart thing to do is start again with a younger skipper ...

I'd keep Siya captain for now, but look to have someone else for 2027.
