Lance - "Jean's on/of-field demeanour is right for captain. His cool, calm attitude is what the Boks need and his respectful manner in which he speaks to refs is a a big plus as he communicates with them in an unconfrontational way which I am sure they appreciate. He is also a senior, experienced player who I am sure all the Boks respect."
Lionel - "Wouldn't our friends from up North just love this: and some even dare mentioned that meisiekind will wear the Bok jersey before Jean this year!"
