Politics and quotas have no place in cricket

It baffles me how some people will continualy blame "Politics", "quota" and "players of colour" when the team loses.

The same people however fail to point out those players that were picked because of the colour of their skin. Instead of dealing with the real reasons why SA lost and rectify it, they rather go the "politics" route.

Parnell had better tour stats than Abbott but Parnell will get blamed. Bahardien had similar tour stats to Rossouw but Behardien is more likely to be on the recieving end of criticism. Peterson had an average of 15 in the two matches that he bowled and "politics" will be blamed.
