No chance for Bokke

Having licked our wounds  and mourned, we now move on to our next challenge being the Mighty All Blacks away.

As we all know, Rugby is a game of war and strategy as well as a game of risk and reward.

HM's strategy of strong defense, limited game out wide, huge pack simply hasn’t worked.

Morne Steyn at flyhalf is abysmal. After numerous years of watching him, we are simply dying for change. When faced with quality opposition he is totally exposed as was the case when the Bulls played the Crusaders in the Super 15.  Im  focusing on  10 as  its the most vital position on the field and Morne is nothing more than "Mediocre" period! This kick, crash, bash strategy  is no longer effective.

Fullback is another vital position. The importance here of x-factor and of the individual no doubt provides the edge. Fransie Stein has xxx factor, huge kicks, gamebreaking ability and enormous on defense. His mere presense plays a role to the point  that  the opposition try to avoid him.  He is currently at center, totally neutralized as our no 10 either kicks away ball or limits potential momentum.

I think it only fair to give credit when granted. HM finally came to his senses and understood that playing without a fetcher is absurd. A quality fetcher slows down opposition ball and creates turnovers. Heinrich is a super quality fetcher, we need him in our starting 15!

Finally JDV, yes he has leadership qualities but his test playing days have expired. In todays game you also need a solid game out wide.

With incorrect 10 and 15 selections and without Eben, JP, Bissie, Connie, Schalk and Bekker, I really cant see us getting to the promised land on Saturday.

Nontheless Go Bokke !!!
