Mulaudzi deserves recognition too

I can't understand why Senzo Meyiwa is regarded as an icon. An icon is someone you look up to and admire and wish to be like. This guy was married with 2 children but screwing around with another woman and had a child with her, is this what we should teach our young to emulate?
So he was a good goaly, yet Bafana Bafana still lost most of their games, does this warrant us naming a street after him, or anything else for that matter. Why is this guy better than ALL the other people who have been killed in this country? I could never be as good a goaly as he was, but there are many olther things that I am better at than Senzo, does that make him a better person than me....and I know I will not have a street named after me (actually, there are a couple of Richmonds around but those were other family members). Come on everyone, let us be more realistic about life and the people who live on this earth. Let us name our streets after people who have made a big difference to this world to the benefit of others, not just someone who was good at catching a ball!
