Luke has paid his dues

Love him or hate him, Luke Watson is a South African rugby legend.
We’ve all suffered from verbal diarrhea during our lifetimes. You know, those days whenever you open your mouth, the brown stuff comes out. Yes, Luke did say some despicable things in the past, he is a Grey boy after all, and they only speak roobish. But, he’s grown up and he’s owned up to the things he said.
On the rugby field, the man is a machine, and he should be respected for it. He is also one of the few professional rugby players out there who would forego the big contracts to help out his hometown union.
The things he said, he said over five years ago, and by holding it against him still, we’re being a petty bunch. He’s said sorry. Now it’s time to judge him by his rugby. He is a rugby player after all.
The last few Lukeless Super Rugby years have been like watching Champions League footy without Wayne Rooney. That’s a pretty dire thing to think about. Welcome back Luke. Do the Eastern Cape proud. Do Port Elizabeth proud!!!

No! I think the smart thing to do is start again with a younger skipper ...

I'd keep Siya captain for now, but look to have someone else for 2027.
