Leave quotas out of it

It is absolutely wrong and unacceptable to paint the Stormer performance problems as a result of "quota" appointments at management and coaching level. For God sake's people, with the exception of the Sharks and a somewhat fortunate run by the Lions, the other Saffa franchises are not exactly setting the Super Rugby world on fire this year either. No "quotas" to blame there. And is Robbie Fleck perhaps a "quota" appointment? How can less than 10% of the population expect to "run" things forever claiming some form of inherent superiority? What garbage!

Etzebeth's return will make a tangible difference, but we have remaining issues at the key positions of 9 and 10, perhaps 15 too. The coaching team do seem to need new blood and with Smal in (and perhaps with Fleck replaced), things can only look up.

Criticize if you must, but please leave "quotas" out of this discourse. It certainly is not relevant here at all. Stop this disgusting racist nonsense.
