In Sport24's online poll 97% of readers picked a Springbok win over Argentina at Newlands:

When asked "The two winners of the 2012 Rugby Championship opening weekend matches between Australia and New Zealand, and South Africa v Argentina, will be...," these were the results...

3% - Wallabies and Springboks
0% - Wallabies and Pumas
94% - All Blacks and Springboks
2% - All Blacks and Pumas
1% - One of the matches will end in a draw...

Some Sport24 readers had doubts about the same team's ability to perform against teams like the Wallabies and the All Blacks.

Common topics among user comments were the large amount of Sharks players in the team, Meyer's loyalty to some out of form players, and Zane Kirchner ahead of Pat Lambie at fullback.

This is what Sport24 readers had to say about the Bok squad:

"The Argies are in for a rude awakening to real Test rugby! The Bokkies will klap the Argies"
- cape.maori

"Many people seem to be writing Argentina off. But be very careful of their scrum. It can be devastating..."
- shayne.r.barker

"The game against the Argies is just to test the combinations and give fringe players some game time." - CM

"All in all, its a talented team and it shows the depth and abundance of talent at our disposal in South African Rugby with great players like Schalk Burger, Juan Smith, JP Pietersen, Jacque Fourie, Pierre Spies, Heinrich Brussow, Coenie Oosthuzen, just to name a few, all unavailable through injury or other commitments." -  emmi.nyathi

"The Bok quality just ain't gonna match up to the Kiwis this year."
- CS

"Israel Dagg v Zane Kircher? Nuff said." - CM

"I would have preferred Pat Lambie, either in place of Zane or Steyn." - RM

"Kirchner other than Frans Steyn is the best we have. Defensively superb and has a great clearance on either boot." - paul.vieira.7792

"Pity about Morne Steyn. This would have been the perfect opportunity to blood a new flyhalf..." - HQ

"Andries Bekker, the biggest wing in the world?"
- Shark fin

"I would have preferred Ruan Pienaar at 9..." - BoyvandieSuburbs

"Kolisi deserved a place in that playing 22..."
- kgotlaetsile.mophuti

"Can anyone please tell me why the Blue Bulls coach, sorry the Bokke coach persists with Kirchner, Hougaard and Morne Steyn? I thought you picked the form players, not your mates!"
- Derek

"There are only 3 Bulls players in the starting line up..."
- Andrew2711

"No Bulls in the pack!"
- Mardeo Bezuidenhout

"There are more Sharks, nearly double, than Bulls players..."
- Heystek Erasmus

"I am so stoked for Keegan Daniel! We are gonna have one helluva mobile back three."
- Dono
