Fans: Stormers have blown it

Cape Town - Sport24 readers believe the Stormers have already blown their chances of making it into this year's Super Rugby playoffs following their narrow 26-24 defeat against the Cheetahs in their Super Rugby match at the Free State Stadium last Saturday.

The Stormers have now lost four out of six matches in Super Rugby this year, after losing only two matches in total in 2012.

This is what Sport24 readers had to say about the Stormers' recent form:

"The Stormers are in a corner and they will do anything for a win!" - Tyronne Jardim

"More and more excuses; we (Stormers) will not make the play-offs." - CapeTown

"If one will get bonus points for excuses, Allister Coetzee will, as a one-man team, win the trophy!"  - GrootrotVanZyl

"Stormers suck...try next year, boet."
- Clive Demad

"If the Sharks win this week, that'll be all she wrote, final nail in the coffin."
- Izzi Max

"Get rid of the coach. You have an awesome team at your disposal and still can't win. Honestly would love to see Nick Mallet or Jake White coach the Stormers side. Would be very interesting to see the results."
- Robert Peter Gemmell

"As a Stormers supporter, living in Cape Town, the team is not the same team we were last year. I expect the Bulls to come back strong, cause they always do. But the Stormers have never been able to pull that off. If we start strong, then we will have a good year. But Its not gonna happen this year. I don't have much hope for the Stormers to do something great this year. Its to late. The rest of the season is a must win for us, and with all these injuries its getting more and more grim every week." - Mo

"The Crusaders once lost 4 games in the beginning of a season and won the title. But I don't think the Stormers can pull it off." - Deon Louw

"At least we can relax now as any expectations of winning the S15 are all but gone. The guys need to take the weight off and play to their potential. I still think it's a great side and we, as supporters, will have plenty to cheer about this season."
- John Comyn

"The Stormers need new coaching staff that will provide them with fresh new ideas. They have stayed the same now for 3-4 years and it is showing. Other teams improving and developing but the Stormers are stagnant." - Leon Janse Van Rensburg

"From a Stormers fan, they played badly... deserve to lose."
- Yagyah Rabin

"I really don't know why we bought Jantjies to the Stormers, it feels like he's the common denominator that made the Lions just as weak in Super Rugby."
- Danie Henrietta van Zyl

"The Stormers and the Lions will be playing in the relegation game." - OMG Klits
