Cape Town - According to Sport24 readers, of the eight uncapped Boks named in Springbok coach Heyneke Meyer's squad, Damian de Allende is most likely to play.

The Stormers wing has had a very good season in Super Rugby and offers the Springboks versatility with the ability to play both wing and centre.

De Allende's size and athleticism could give him the edge as Heyneke Meyer favours these attributes in picking players for the Springboks.

In an online poll Sport24 readers picked the player as the most likely new selection to be picked by Meyer to play for the Springboks.

Sport24 asked:

"Which of the uncapped Springboks named in Heyneke Meyer's squad has the best chance of being selected in the starting lineup?"

These were the results:

34% - Damian de Allende

19% - Marnitz Boshoff

14% - S'bura Sithole

10% - Lood de Jager

9% - Jacques du Plessis

8% - Marcel van der Merwe

5% - Cornal Hendricks

1% - Teboho Mohoje
