Disgusted with the ref

I watched a poorly reffed game and sad to say, feel that we are putting too much on our players and not enough on the Refs. We have new blood but how can we be proud of our young refs if they are not only biased but making bad calls. In the game between the sharks and the Lions, he only asked the TMO to look at 1 Sharks try. This was only done because the Lions had requested him to look. And from the angles I saw, which I’m sure was the same angles that the TMO saw, there was no evidence showing that the ball was in fact grounded.

With each try that was scored by the Lions, the ref referred to the TMO. No offence but those were bad calls as each try was a clear try. Sadly, it was stated that there was always an infringement about half way down the field. What amazed me is that not once did any of the Touch Judges put out a flag to show a possible infringement.

So, can someone please explain to me how we can say we have top class ref’s when they have to check with the TMO on almost every move? And above that, how can they be of such high class if they are making such bad calls. I say let us get some high school ref’s in who are able to view a game without camera’s, and the games are always fair. Maybe our current ref’s need to go back to school rugby and learn from scratch again.
