Bookies fueled by greedy cricketers

For as long as there are greedy cricketers out there, bookies will always be a constant presence in our cricket. Reasons forwarded by PCB when trying to defend Mohammad Asif was that he came from a remote Pakistani village and didn't speak much English. For me, that statement was silly. Most Pakistani cricketers speak poor English and Asif was one of the few Pakistani cricketers who didn't shy away from speaking in English and it wasn't that bad. At least, it was better than Inzamam's. So, for me he knew exactly what he was doing and then went on to become a serial offender. So, ICC must brace itself for bruising war with bookies.
