He will most certainly have an influence on the game and I believe for all positive reasons. WP strong point in set pieces is the lineout and I expect them to compete on the Sharks throw-ins. Bismarcks experience will be invaluable. At scrummage, Jannie, Beast and Bismarck will also be a huge factor in attempting to prevent WP from getting front foot ball to run onto and may force the less experienced WP front row into conceding a few penalties, especially if Newlands is sound under foot. Around the field he will be his typical in your face competitor, whether it be as a ball carrier crossing the advantage line where he and Willem Alberts will now be able to share the duty in gaining the hard yards off the rucks and mauls. On defence he is extremely good at driving the attacking player backwards in the tackle and holding the player up giving Provence slow ball. He is also the Sharks fourth loosie and has a habit of turning over the ball at rucks on a regular basis. Will these factors influence the outcome of the game? We will just have to wait and see.
