Biff grew in captaincy

His brash attitude in the beginning won him no friends. I think since then people have wanted to see him fall.

I wasn't a fan of his for a start. I do believe he grew into the test captaincy nicely. As far as the ODI captaincy is concerned, I never rated him. I thought the game was to fast for him. I thought someone like Johan Botha was better at that than him.

All that said, he was a good cricketer. Not the most talented mofo you'd ever come across but undoubted one of the most hard working. To make that technique of his work the way he did, is nothing short of a miracle.

Well done Biff! Enjoy the family time. You deserve it.
