Bayern to defend title

Bayern Munich look so lethal at the moment that you’d be crazy not to back them to take the title again. I had my doubts about Pep taking over but he hasn’t let his ego override sanity. Dortmund still showing that last season was not fluke at all, hot on their tails in the Bundesliga.

Barcelona will be hoping some team can do them a favour and somehow eliminate Bayern during the knockout stages because their butt is still smarting from the pummeling they received last time out. Real Madrid will again be challenging with plenty of goals but they need to plug up their defence or else they will be looking for another coach again next season.

No Premier League team has the power to win it this season. Well, no other European team has the power to win it this season, barring the following two teams: Juventus – because they know how to shut the door on any team; and PSG – because its been twenty years since a French team has won the title, and if any team is going to pull a surprise over the German club in the final, it will be a team that has no history or fear.

That said, Man City would be a good bet too on that logic.
