AB to captain, bat #4 in test team and handover the gloves to Quinton de Kock - who should be given a chance to open batting anyway. Du Plessis to be vice captain and Bat at 5. Amla at 3 but no captaincy role for him because we all know he doesn't want it.
No point forcing something down a player's throat. JP doesn't strike me as a natural captain.
I'd keep Faf as T20 captain. Is a good training school, with perhaps bringing one of the younger future stars in to be vice-captain and learn from Faf/AB.
