Grosjean 'back on a good path'

Cape Town - Romain Grosjean believes he is "back on a good path" as he looks to secure his future with Haas.

The Frenchman is one of many drivers whose future with his existing team has yet to be confirmed.

Grosjean, though, hasn't exactly helped his cause this season.

Too many mistakes, including a crash behind the Safety Car in Baku and causing lap 1 carnage in Spain, have blotted his copybook.

He has, however, managed three top-ten results in the past four races and believes he is back on the right track.

"Nothing has changed," he said when asked about his future with Haas. "We are both grown up.

"As I said a few times I think the team knows what I've brought since day one, and I know I haven't delivered what I should have delivered in some races this year.

"Hopefully it's a past story and now we're back on a good path but I think the summer is a good time to think about that."

He added: "There's a lot of talks in the paddock and a lot of speculation all the time.

There aren't a lot of drivers with a lot of experience as well, maybe I can go somewhere and develop the team, but my main option is to stay here and keep doing our good business."
