Australia GP to remain in Melbourne until 2025

Paris - The Australian Grand Prix will continue to be held in Melbourne until 2025, Formula One announced on Thursday.

The city has hosted the event since 1996 and has been the opening race of the season since 2010.

F1 marks its 70th birthday next year with the Albert Park circuit kicking off the celebrations in March.

Last week Silverstone was confirmed as the host circuit for the British Grand Prix until 2024.
