Mercedes pair top final practice

Sochi - Formula One championship leader Lewis Hamilton edged Mercedes teammate Nico Rosberg in the final practice on Saturday for the Russian Grand Prix.

Williams driver Valtteri Bottas was third in the last session ahead of qualifying, ahead of Red Bull's Daniel Ricciardo and Felipe Massa in the second Williams.

Hamilton also had the fastest time in Friday's practice. On Saturday, he drove the fastest lap of 1 minute, 38.726 seconds, beating Rosberg by .290 seconds.

Bottas was .371 seconds behind, while Ricciardo lagged 1.029 seconds.

Hamilton may have had an even faster time but for a spin late in the session. He then headed into the pit lane.

Mercedes can wrap up its first constructors title if one of its drivers wins Sunday's race. Hamilton can stretch his 10-point leader over Rosberg.
