PIC: Shirtless Player alone on beach after #SB2K17 snub

Cape Town - South African golfing icon Gary Player was "bummed" at being snubbed once again from the #SB2K17, posting a lonesome shirtless picture of himself on the beach.

#SB2K17, as the Bro-hamas trip is known, takes place in Baker's Bay in the Bahamas, and includes PGA Tour young guns Jordan Spieth, Rickie Fowler, Smylie Kaufman and Justin Thomas.

Their antics last year, which saw the PGA Tour stars playing topless golf in the Caribbean, captured the imagination of the golfing world.

Last year, Player, and 18-time major champion Jack Nicklaus wanted in on the action and were invited by Kaufman to join.

However, it seems like the two golfing legends' invitations got lost in the mail, as Player took to Twitter to share his disappointment at missing out on the Baker's Bay action this year.

The nine-time major winner posted a shirtless picture of himself, saying: "When you're disappointed not to be invited to #SB2K17.. all alone on the beach."

Here's what they got up to in the Bahamas:
