Tiger paid to hide love child

New York - Tiger Woods paid a whopping $3m to the mother of his secret love child to buy her silence, it has emerged.

According to the sify sports website, the disgraced golfer apparently paid Theresa Rogers the amount to keep mum after she gave birth to a girl in 2003.

Rumours about a secret child have circulated since Woods, 34, split from his wife, Elin Nordegren.

A TV documentary is set to re-ignite the Tiger Woods affair scandal with claims that the golfer fathered a secret love child.

It alleges that Woods, who has two children with his estranged wife hid details of the baby with the help of a journalist.

Neal Boulton, one of many interviewed for 'Tiger Woods: The Rise And Fall", said he knows someone who has evidence of the child's existence, including DNA.

"There is a lot more to come out. Tiger will eventually admit to fathering a child," the Daily Telegraph quoted him as saying.
