Pearl Valley goes pink!

Cape Town - Pearl Valley Golf Estates in the Cape Winelands will be supporting PinkDrive this October, in aid of Breast Cancer Awareness month.

As part of Pearl Valley’s second charity campaign dedicated to cancer awareness, R2 from each round played in the month of October will be donated to PinkDrive.

In addition, October will also see Pearl Valley teeing off to charity with the Sunflower Fund Celebrity Golf Day on Tuesday, October 15.

Earlier this year the Pearl Valley Golf Estates Captain’s Charity raised R60 000 for the Red Cross War Memorial Children's Hospital.

“As a premier golfing and leisure destination, we are thrilled to be able to support these charities and raise awareness. We believe that we are playing our part in creating a caring community & country,” says Gawie Marx, General Manager of Pearl Valley Golf Estates.

Set beneath the towering Drakenstein Mountains, Pearl Valley Golf Estates is not only one of South Africa’s top golf courses, but presents a luxury experience for leisure, accommodation, conferencing and golfing alike.

Designed by the legendary golfer Jack Nicklaus and opened in 2003, Pearl Valley Golf Estates was named “best new golf course of the year" in 2005, third best Golf Course in South Africa by Golf Digest in 2011, a five-star experience by Compleat Golfer for five consecutive years, as well as Best Conditioned Golf Course in Western Cape by Golf Digest 2012.
