Oosthuizen was the sole South African to make the cut at the Northern Trust this past weekend - finishing T28 at -6.

The 2010 Open Championship winner lays 69th in the FedEx Cup standings and will need to maintain his position in order to qualify for the BMW Championship next week.

Grace, who missed the cut this past weekend, lays 91st in the FedEx Cup standings and will need a stellar performance to secure a Top 70 spot for next week's event in Pennsylvania.

Meanwhile, 2011 Masters champion Charl Schwartzel (105) and Rory Sabbatini (109) both missed the cut at Ridgewood and dropped out of the Top 100.

The Dell Technologies Championship gets under way at TPC Boston from August 31 to September 3.

PGA Tour FedEx Cup Playoffs:

Northern Trust - 125 golfers (August 23-26)

Dell Technologies Championship - 100 golfers (August 31 - September 3)

BMW Championship - 70 golfers (September 6-9)

Tour Championship - 30 golfers (September 20-23)
