Cape Town - Gale force winds have wreaked havoc ahead of this week’s AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am PGA Tour event in California.

During a practice round on Tuesday, Americans JB Holmes, Tony Finau and Charley Hoffman - big hitters on the PGA Tour - showed how they adapted to the situation by posting incredible videos from the renowned par-3, 7th hole.
From 105 yards (92 metres) out, Holmes used a 6-iron, aiming out over the ocean and letting the wind blow his ball back onto the green.

Remarkably, Finau took a 5-iron and hit it to within 15 feet of the hole!
Hoffman also took a 5-iron and hit the green.
The golfers will, however, be relieved to hear that the winds are expected to die down for the tournament which starts on Thursday.
