Check out the star-studded pairings for the Hero World Challenge

Cape Town - The best golfers on the planet are ready to put on one final show before the end of the year at this week's Hero World Challenge.

The unofficial PGA Tour event, hosted by Tiger Woods in benefit of his foundation, has once again attracted a star-studded field.

Sixteen of the 23 best players in the world will descend on the luxury Albany resort in the Bahamas, and the official pairings tell their own story of the great golf we have in store.

For European fans, the pairings of Justin Rose and Henrik Stenson, and Jon Rahm and Alex Noren, make for must-see viewing, while the duos of Tiger Woods and Justin Thomas, and Rickie Fowler and Dustin Johnson promise some real fireworks too.

The pairing of Patrick Cantlay and Xander Schauffele represent two of the brightest stars in the game, while Masters champions Patrick Reed and Bubba Watson will no doubt be swapping Augusta stories.

The final pairing of Jason Day and Bryson DeChambeau boast no fewer than six victories between then in 2018, so don't be surprised if Sunday's winner emerges from that duo.

There are no South Africans in this year's field.

Pairings (all times SA):

18:10 - Tony Finau, Gary Woodland

18:21 - Keegan Bradley, Hideki Matsuyama

18:32 - Patrick Cantlay, Xander Schauffele

18:43 - Justin Rose, Henrik Stenson

18:54 - Jon Rahm, Alex Noren

19:05 - Tiger Woods, Justin Thomas
