Paris - Justin Rose leapfrogged ahead of Ryder Cup teammate Rory McIlroy to take sixth place in the world golf rankings on Monday.

Tiger Woods, who was inactive, stayed top of the rankings with Adam Scott and Henrik Stenson, both of whom were also idle, in close pursuit.
