Open Championship

As it happened: Open Championship - Round 4

2018-07-22 10:10

Cape Town - The 147th Open Championship is under way at Carnoustie Golf Club in Scotland.

Out of the 12 South Africans in the field this week, only five made the cut: Brandon Stone, Louis Oosthuizen, Zander Lombard, Erik van Rooyen and Shaun Norris.

The last time a South African lifted the famed Claret Jug was in 2012 when Ernie Els won by single stroke at Royal Lytham & St Annes.
