Cape Town - South Africa's Louis Oosthuizen has been paired with former world No 1 Tiger Woods and Jason Day for the opening two rounds of this year's Open Championship at St Andrews.

Open Championship Round 1 pairings

Oosthuizen, the 2010 Open winner, will tee off at 10:55 SA time on Thursday.

Other South Africans in the field for the 144th Open, include:

Retief Goosen (08:49) alongside Ireland's Shane Lowry and American Kevin Streelman

Ernie Els (09:33) alongside American duo Tom Watson and Brandt Snedeker

Charl Schwartzel (10:00) alongside England's Ian Poulter and the USA's Bubba Watson

Jaco van Zyl (12:33) alongside American Mark Calcavecchia and Germany's Marcel Siem

Thomas Aiken (12:44) alongside American David Lipsky and Sweden's Jonas Blixt

George Coetzee (13:28) alongside India's Anirban Lahiri and Spain's Rafael Cabrera-Bello

Branden Grace (15:56) alongside American Jim Furyk and England's Paul Casey
