Louis, Branden left to fly SA flag at Augusta

Cape Town - Louis Oosthuizen and Branden Grace will fly the SA flag over the weekend at Augusta National Golf Club after their compatriots missed the cut at the 82nd Masters on Friday.

Oosthuizen, the 2010 Open Championship winner, posted rounds of 71 and 71 to lie in a tie for eighth on 2-under par, seven strokes adrift of halfway leader, American Patrick Reed.

Grace signed for rounds of 73 and 73, and will have his work cut out for him should he wish to break his Major duck come Sunday evening.

After the cut was made at 5-over par, Charl Schwartzel, who donned the famed green jacket at Augusta in 2011, found himself one-shot outside the cut-line to qualify for the final 36 holes after rounds of 72 and 78, while Dylan Frittelli, playing in his first Masters, posted 77 and 74.

Trevor Immelman, the 2008 Masters champion, wound up shooting 78 and 75.

Grace will tee off in Round 3 alongside Australia Jason Day at 17:40 SA time, while Oosthuizen will have American Rickie Fowler for company in the fifth-from-last pairing at 19:50.
