Denmark - Bernd Wiesberger fired his lowest round of the season so far to take a one shot lead into the final day of the Made in Denmark tournament on the European Tour.
The Austrian missed seven months with a wrist injury last year but has played 12 events so far on the 2019 Race to Dubai, although he is yet to register a top ten as he looks to rediscover the game that brought him four European Tour wins.
A 67 at Himmerland Golf & Spa Resort showed that some of the form was on its way back and moved him to nine under, one clear of Scotland's Robert MacIntyre.
Germany's Max Schmitt and Austrian Matthias Schwab were then at seven under, a shot clear of Frenchman Romain Langasque, Spaniard Pablo Larrazábal and England's Oliver Wilson.
"I was very much in control of my ball, I hit a lot of good shots," said Wiesberger. "All in all it was a solid day, a good moving day for me.
"I feel like I'm in control of what I'm doing, I'm not trying to get ahead of myself, I'll just stick to my processes."
Wiesberger started the day three shots behind overnight leader Schwab but he holed a six footer on the first and got on the par five fifth in two to take a share of top spot.
He birdied from 12 feet on the seventh and took advantage of the par five eighth to lead by two but a poor tee shot on the ninth and a three putt on the tenth dropped him back into a share alongside playing partner MacIntyre.
The European Challenge Tour graduate sandwiched a bogey on the third with an eight foot putt on the second and a birdie on the par five fifth to turn in 35.
He hit a poor tee shot on the 11th but an excellent third allowed him to birdie the par five.
A bogey would follow on the next and Wiesbrger put his approach to tap-in range on the 13th and hit a parachute shot from the side of the driveable 14th green to lead by three.
MacIntyre also made the most of the short par four as he got up and down from the sand and when he put an approach to five feet on the next, he was the nearest challenger.
A bogey on the last as Wiesberger failed to get up and down meant that MacIntyre would head into Sunday in his best 54 hole position in 15 events on the European Tour.
"I just had to be patient early in the round again," he said. "The wind direction doesn't suit me on the first 12 holes so I've just got to hang in until late in the round and that's where I've got to try and get my score.
"It's something that I've always wanted to do - win on the European Tour. Now that I've secured my card for next season, it gives me the freedom that there's nothing to lose so I've just got to get out there and try and get it."
Schwab looked like he could fall back as he bogeyed three of his first seven holes - with a birdie from three feet at the fourth - but when he took advantage of the par five eighth, he was back in the solo lead.
Bogeys on the ninth and 13th dented his progress but the 24-year-old bounced back with birdies on the 14th and 15th.
Schmitt made a birdie-birdie start and took advantage of the fifth but bogeyed the third and found the water on the sixth before picking up shots on the 12th and 14th.
Wilson went out in 39 but picked up six shots in as many holes as he came back in ten fewer blows on the back nine.
Larrazábal also carded a 69 with four birdies and two bogeys, while Langasque made one birdie and two bogeys in a 72.
Spain's Alejandro Cañizares, Irishman Paul Dunne and England's Matthew Southgate were then at five under, a shot clear of Scottish duo Scott Jamieson and Richie Ramsay, Norway's Espen Kofstad and Englishman Lee Westwood.
