Pulheim - England's Matt Wallace made five birdies on the back nine of his final round to edge Thorbjorn Olesen in a tense struggle for victory in the BMW International Open at Pulheim on Sunday.
It was a second European Tour title of the season for Wallace, who started the day two off the lead and had to watch Olesen put in a record final round of just 61 before he had even begun his own round.
That 61 is the lowest round of the European Tour this season and the lowest in BMW International Open history.
But a bogey free final round with those five birdies and a tee shot to the green on the 16th saw the Briton edge a shot past the Dane and hold on to clinch the title.
