Cape Town - Golfing legend Seve Ballesteros' former caddie has died while on the bag at the Alfred Dunhill Championship at Leopard Creek.
Argentinian Pedro Ramseyer was carrying the bag of Spaniard Carlos Pigem at this week's European and Sunshine Tour co-sanctioned tournament.
Another Spanish star, Pablo Larrazabal, confirmed the news on his Twitter account late on Thursday night.
Seve's son, Javier, also took to social media to confirm the tragic news.
Pigem shot a 4-under par 68 in the opening round, and followed that up with a 3-under par 69 in Round 2.
Ramseyer was found dead in his guesthouse having suffered a heart attack. He was 60.
