Oz Open set for Royal Sydney

Sydney - This year's Australian Open will be held at The Royal Sydney Golf Club in November, Golf Australia said on Thursday.

The tournament, co-sanctioned by the PGA Tour of Australasia and OneAsia, moves to Royal Sydney, which has been home to the tournament 13 times before, after three years at The Lakes course, also in Sydney.

Earlier this month, six-time Australian Open champion Jack Nicklaus confirmed the tournament would move to The Australian Golf Club, also in Sydney, in 2014.

This year's event takes pace from November 28 to December 1.
