Cape Town - Former Proteas star batsman AB de Villiers has made himself unavailable for next year's Pakistan Super League (PSL).
De Villiers, who retired from international cricket in 2018, played for the Lahore Qalandars as a foreign Platinum player this season.
The 35-year-old played 7 games and scored 218 runs at an average of 54.50.
Meanwhile, the Qalandars have retained former Proteas all-rounder David Wiese.
Wiese scored 136 runs and took five wickets in his 7 games.
Former Proteas batsman Colin Ingram has been released by the Karachi Kings despite becoming the third-highest run scorer with 344 runs in 11 games.
Meanwhile, reigning champions Quetta Gladiators have kept faith in skipper Sarfaraz Ahmed and PSL player of the tournament, Shane Watson.
The Gladiators also released South Africa's Rilee Rossouw after scoring 295 runs in his 12 games this season.
The player draft for next year's tournament will take place on December 6.
