Cape Town - Bangladesh cricketer Taskin Ahmed could not hide his emotions after being left out of his side's squad for the World Cup on Tuesday.
The 24-year-old paceman, who has only just returned from injury, was largely expected to be included and was a surprise omission.
Footage surfaced on social media showing Taskin surrounded by journalists having just heard the news that he would not be part of the 15-man touring party that will head to England next month.
The tweet was posted by BDCricTime, and there were numerous messages of support for Taskin that followed.
South Africa, meanwhile, are set to announce their 15-man squad for the tournament in Johannesburg on Thursday.
There are unlikely to be too many tears, though, with the squad having a largely settled feel to it already and with few, if any, surprises expected.
