Cape Town - The term 'practice like you play' is one that is often heard in sport, and Indian captain Virat Kohli clearly does just that.
As preparations for the highly-anticipated first Test between India and Australia on December 6 continue, footage emerged on social media on Tuesday of Kohli practicing in the Adelaide Oval nets.
The sequence of shots, which comes courtesy of cricket.com.au, shows Kohli playing with the intensity he often talks about in his press conferences.
Calls of 'yes', 'no' and 'two' can heard, with the man largely considered one of the best batsmen in the world today clearly at the top of his game.
If you're a cricket fan, this is one to watch. Make sure that you have the sound turned up, though, because half of what makes this video so special is the sound that rings out of the middle of Kohli's bat every time he strikes the ball.
Kohli (30) has scored 6 331 runs in 73 Tests at an average of 54.57.
