Cape Town - Is there anything AB de Villiers can't do?
After scoring a stunning 69 off just 39 balls (12x4, 1x6) for Royal Challengers Bangalore in their must-win match against Sunrisers Hyderabad in the IPL, De Villiers went on to pull off one of the catches of the tournament to dismiss Englishman Alex Hales.
Chasing a formidable 219 to win, Hales had smashed his way to 37 off 24 balls (2x4, 3x6) when he launched spinner Moeen Ali towards deep mid-wicket.
For most in the stadium, it seemed like the ball would easily clear the boundary but De Villiers had other ideas.
Launching himself in the air, De Villiers stuck out his right hand to pluck the ball out of the sky and send the crowd, and his team-mates, into delirium.
Royal Challengers Bangalore went on to win the game by 14 runs and keep their hopes of a playoff place alive.
